She is known as the first Japanese female ever to break the code of silence and speak about life for women in the underworld. She wrote a book called Yakuza Moon: Memoirs of a Gangster’s Daughter. The tattoo artist that inked her said that she took it like a real Yakuza. She showed no signs of pain. Ya’ll should read the book. It’s amazing. She’s still one of my idols. Daughter of a Yakuza.
